Facile Synthesis of Copper(I) Oxide Nanochains and the Photo-Thermal Conversion Performance of Its Nanofluids

In this thesis, Cu2O nanochains were synthesized by thermal decomposition with copper formate-octylamine as the precursor, oleic acid and oleylamine catalyst stabilizer agent paraffin solvent. The phase structure micromorphology of characterized X-ray diffraction transmission electron microscopy. effect reaction time concentration precursor on discussed, formation mechanism was analyzed. results show that self-assembled nanocrystals; extension time, gradually become granular; increasing will increase entanglement degree nanochains. Oleic contributes to Cu2O, plays a directional role in On basis those phenomenon, comparison nanochain-water nanofluids water-based liquid showed after irradiating for 3000 s, temperature reached 91.1 °C while water only 75.7 °C. This demonstrates better performance nanofluid ability light absorption, conductivity photothermal conversion.
